BETWEEN THE LINES

Displeasure with (Hatred of) Obama (blacks) is helping conservative lawmakers (racist honkies) gain ground in those states (the former Confederacy) where skepticism about his agenda (fear of communist takeover) has fed doubts (paranoia), leading to calls for restraint (lynch mobs).
FEATURE
A settlement has been reached between Warner Bros.' New Line Cinema and the Tolkien Trust on royalties owed for the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. The films cost $285 million to produce, market and distribute, but New Line claimed there were no profits from $6 billion in gross receipts. Other "Rings" suits have been brought by:
A ) HarperCollins Publishers Ltd, publisher of Tolkien's works
B ) Producer Saul Zaentz who bought the worldwide film, stage, and merchandise rights from J.R.R. Tolkien
C ) Trilogy director Peter Jackson (who eventually settled out of court and is now executive producing “The Hobbit”)
D ) Sixteen cast members who sued over revenue from merchandise bearing their likenesses
Hint: No wrong answers here — in Mordor and Hollywood things never change.
